All things sweet is a blog about the little things in life that take you back to a day when you had faith, hope, and energy in abundance. Back to a time when candy cigarettes were not politically incorrect, and summers were spent barefoot. Some of my fondest memories include my pet rock and listening to Donna summers “bad girls†playing on the radio. I started thinking about this topic because of my youngest son Aidan, who recently had the opportunity to pick out several candies he wanted from the store. When we got home and he had his bounty before him, he exclaimed “this is the best day of my life!†I thought to myself kids are so lucky they get so excited and take such pleasure in the small things in life. That started me thinking about the truly wonderful lesson we should all learn from our kids.
